The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark

My family took a trip to The Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark located in Monticello, NY. We stayed at the resort for two nights. Below is some helpful information when planning your trip.

1. Don’t forget to pack your googles for the FlowRider.

My son loved going on the FlowRider! The instructor was outstanding! My son had never been on a FlowRider before and the instructor did a great job explaining everything to him and guiding him while he was on it.

2. My kids loved the bunk beds in our suite!

There are many different suite options available. You can also have a day-cation at the The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark with a Splash Pass.

3. S’mores were the perfect evening snack.

S’more kits were available for purchase at Pop’s Sweet Shoppe.

4. There is nearly 6 miles of scenic hiking trails!

The trails are right next to the resort which made it super convenient.

5. We loved our lower level cabana rental!

The cabana was a great place for my kids to take breaks from the waterpark. My daughter even took her afternoon nap in the cabana while her older brother continued to go on waterslides!

6. The end of all the waterslides empties into shallow water.

My kids are still learning how to swim so it was a relief to see that the slides ended into shallow water. There were also many lifeguards throughout the waterpark.

7. Don’t forget to check height requirements.

8. There are lockers you can rent.

The lockers are located next to the bathrooms in the waterpark.

9. You can purchase an Aqua Case at the Sunsiders (the gift shop next to the waterpark).

I used an aqua case for my phone while we were at the waterpark. It was a great way to take pictures without having to worry about my phone getting wet!
