The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum is located in Springfield, MA. It is an hour and half drive from Albany, NY. The Lee Premium Outlets is a great half way point to stop at to break up the drive and of course buy some things too! If you are thinking of going, I would check your local library to see if they have any museum passes. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any museum passes from my local library, but I took advantage of the Museums on Us partnership with Bank of America. We were able to get in for free because my husband and myself both were able to show Photo ID with valid Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (US Trust) credit or debit card. Free admission is limited to the cardholder only. My son was able to get in for free because he is under three years old. This offer is valid during the first full weekend (Sat and Sun) of each month.
