There is wood chips below the playground and grass beside the playground.
You have to walk through a wooded area and over a bridge to get the playground from the parking lot.
My son loved walking over the bridge and looking at the water.
There was a porta potty in the parking lot. The restroom in the pavilion is only open when the pavilion is rented.
