What will you do with your pumpkins after Halloween? | Capital District Moms

Below are some great ways to get rid of pumpkins after Halloween!

Pumpkin Smash!
Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9am to 1pm
2nd Annual PUMPKIN SMASH COMPOST BASH at the Compost Facility on Sat. Nov 4 from 9am-1pm
You may be done with your Jack-o-lanterns, pumpkins, and gourds on Halloween, but the earth isn’t. The only thing spookier than these decorations on Halloween night are the greenhouse gases they would produce if landfilled! Have cider and fun, and take a family selfie while smashing ‘Jack’ back to the earth to help us make some compost. This event features “Chuck” our giant catapult, our “Veginator”, huge wooden mallets, and more!

Pumpkin’ Chunkin’ at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery
Saturday, November 4, 2023
This year’s event includes a Medieval Tournament, Knights in Battle, Ax Throwing, Dancing Witches, Wizard Grondahl the Wand Maker, and enchanted forest where the woodland fairy lives, and so much more!
