Here is what we did in Boston one day this summer without spending a lot of money:

1️⃣ Took the T to South Station (Children age 11 and under ride for free).
2️⃣ Walked along the Rose Kennedy Greenway (free). There are fountains kids can cool off in so bring their swimsuits if it’s hot out. 💦
3️⃣ Rode the Greenway Carousel ($4).
4️⃣ Looked at the seals in front of the aquarium (free).
5️⃣ Played on the playground in Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (There is also a playground next to Boston City Hall).
6️⃣ Had lunch in Quincy Market. You may see some street performers outside of Quincy Market.

Suzanne’s Playground in Ballston Spa is one of our favorite playgrounds in the Capital District especially when the big kids are in school because it isn’t as crowded. 😉

Know Before You Go:
⭐️ The playground is fenced in.
⭐️ There are two bathrooms off of the pavilion.
⭐️ There is an expression swing (baby rides on one side & an adult rides on the other).
⭐️ This playground closes during the winter.
