Dino-mite Dinos Break Week Classes

April 2

Calling all budding paleontologists and dino lovers! Dinosaurs walked the Earth for 165 million years and even though they haven’t been alive for 65 million years, together we’ll learn about them. Some of the questions we’ll look at this week include how fossils are formed; the difference between dinosaurs, Pteranodons and plesiosaurs; and what the Earth was like during the Age of Dinosaurs!

The Museum offers onsite Break Week Classes for children in grades K–5. miSci science communicators will cover a variety of engaging STEAM-related topics. Class activities include exhibit guided tours, outdoor games, Planetarium shows, and science demonstrations. Classes are presented separately for students in grades K–2 (minimum age 5 years), and for students in grades 3–5. Students may register for a full week of classes, single full day classes, or single morning classes.
