Department of Public Works Commissioner Jason Golub announced that the historic Illions Carousel in Congress Park is opening on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2023. The Carousel will be open from 11am to 6pm.

Huck Finn’s Playland in Albany, NY has a carousel. The carousel was originally at Hoffmans amusement park in Latham, NY until 2014 when the owners retired and the rides were bought by Huck Finn’s Warehouse. In 2015 Huck Finn’s Playland opened. Huck Finn’s Playland is a seasonal business. Opening Day for the 2023 Season: May 6th.
