Can you walk through Capital Holiday Lights in the Park located at Washington Park in Albany, NY?
There were three nights that were dedicated to walking the lights during the 2021 season. Unfortunately, all of these nights have past.
Sunday, November 21 – 5-7pm – Food for Friends Walk Night
Monday, November 22 – 5-7pm – Pet Walk Night
Saturday, December 11 – 6-8pm – Walk-Only Night

The Capital Holiday Lights are described on the website as a drive through “The 25th Annual Price Chopper/Market 32 Capital Holiday Lights in the Park drive through runs from November 26, 2021, until January 2, 2022.” However, there is a sign at the entrance of Capital Holiday Lights with VERY LIMITED TIMES each night that you are able to walk the lights before it opens as a drive through event. Parking can be challenging in this area so if you plan to walk the lights, I recommend getting to the area early to find a spot.
