The Albany-Hudson Electric Trail is a 36-mile trail that was completed in December of 2020 and runs from the City of Rensselaer in Rensselaer County to the Town of Greenport in Columbia County. The trail is part of the statewide 750-mile Empire State Trail. I would definitely check out the map before visiting the trail as the map identifies paved asphalt and stonedust trail segments, as well as on-road sections.
