Blessed Sacrament Parish
Food Pantry: Our Parish based food pantry serves an average of 225 families each month. As a member of “The Food Pantries of the Capital District”, we follow the geographic boundaries put in place by this group.
Thrift Store: Our Parish Thrift Store provides a place for families in the area to purchase at very reasonable prices articles of clothing, shoes, boots, coats, dishware, glassware, lamps, books, small furniture pieces, young children’s furniture, toys and much, much more. The Thrift Store operates through the generosity of our parishioners and others who donate items.

Capital Region Furniture Bank
“Furniture Donors donate gently used furniture from our list of approved home furnishings. Donors can be anyone from within the community: individuals, private organizations, or public entities.”
“Clean winter coats, Hats and Socks, Diapers (all sizes), Diaper Wipes, and Diaper Cream, Clean, unused pajamas for children aged birth to ten, Personal Hygiene, Feminine Products and Wooden Toys.”

“With nearly 100 men, women and children staying with us each night, there are always items that we are in need of to keep our shelters running!”
“Your gift of an automobile can help to change lives in our community! We work with Donate-A-Car to process your donation. City Mission receives 70% of the net proceeds to benefit those in need.”
