The Capital District Teal Pumpkin Party is inspired by FARE‘s worldwide movement to create a safer, happier Halloween for all kids – the Teal Pumpkin Project. Teal is the official color of food allergy awareness. Putting a teal pumpkin on your doorstep means you have non-food treats available in a separate bowl, such as glow sticks or small toys. This simple act promotes inclusion for trick-or-treaters with food allergies or other conditions. Learn more about the project and how you can get involved here.
