Both Target and Walmart are having a car seat trade-in event this month!
Target’s Car Seat Trade-In Event runs from September 3– 13, 2019. When you bring your car seat to Guest Services, you’ll get a coupon for 20% off a new car seat, stroller or select baby gear. The coupon is valid through September 14, 2019. Target introduced its first car seat trade-in program in April 2016. To date, through trade-in programs, Target has recycled more than 11.9 million pounds of materials!
Meanwhile, Walmart’s Car Seat Trade-In Event runs September 16 – 30, 2019. Customers can trade in used car seats at the service desk in any participating Walmart store and receive a $30 Walmart gift card. The gift card can be used in store or online to buy items for their baby. There’s a limit of two gift cards per household. Booster seats not eligible for trade-in. This is the first time that Walmart is having a car seat trade-in event.
