4th Annual Albany Lantern Parade | Capital District Moms

The 4th Annual Albany Lantern Parade will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 4pm-6:30pm in Washington Park in Albany, NY. The Albany Lantern Parade is a simple celebration of light and community as everyone gathers at sunset to walk with handmade lanterns in Washington Park. Battery-operated tealights will be available for use during the walk. This event is free and open to the public.

In the weeks preceding the parade there will be lantern making workshops at various locations in Albany where participants can create lanterns out of recycled bottles. If you are unable to make a workshop, feel free to make a lantern at home!
