Hancock Shaker Village, a living history museum, features twenty historic buildings dating to 1783 and the oldest working farm in the Berkshires with heritage breeds and heirloom gardens. The Schuyler Farms Fall Festival, features our 7-acre self-designed corn maze! There is something to do for everyone in the Fall. In addition to getting lost in our maize maze, you can pan for real fossils and gemstones in our mining sluice, you can take a hayride to pick pumpkins, pet and feed our farm animals, grab a bite to eat (including fresh cider donuts), zoom down the super slide and zip lines and so much more! If you are really brave you can dare to enter our ‘Field of Screams’ Haunted Maze on select October nights!

Costume Swap at the East Greenbush Library

Swap instead of shop! This is recycling at its most fun! Here’s how it works:

  • Costumes (all sizes: infant to adult) will be accepted in the Children’s room 9/30 – 10/11.
  • For each complete, clean, gently worn costume, you will receive 1 swap ticket to claim a new-to-you costume at this event on Saturday, October 12 from noon – 2pm.
  • No guarantee of fit or selection.
  • Not interested in receiving a swap ticket? Donations of additional costumes will also be accepted!
